Well, really I am just sick and stuck in bed.....
So this is a blog that I try to keep up on because it is always really encouraging. You may have heard of the recent book "Worldliness" but CJ Mahaney (I def. recommend it btw). Well, this blog is by his wife and daughters. All that to say you should at least humor me by reading this link (if not previous posts...the series on singleness from last week being highly recommended also) because it reminded me of our little group and how we try to ask each other what God has been teaching us and how we are trying to use this blog to tell each other that. I liked what she said in that second to last paragraph about having a "professor." Anyway, here it is. Take it or leave it.

Wow, that's good! I never thought about having a friend be your "professor." It's so true, reading my Bible is the most important thing I do in the day. I've been thinking a lot about that, too, recently. What a privilege and a responsibility it is to hold and read this book! How easy it is for us humans to bring our preconceptions and misinterpret it, and yet the Lord allows us to read it. I've been praying for wisdom to interpret it correctly.
I'm in a Bible Study at school called How To Lead A Small Group Bible Study, led by our RUF campus minister, and it has really been helping me dig into the word and get so much more out of a passage. It's amazing how many layers God's word has--no matter how many times I read it through in my life, it will always have new things to teach me!
